We're now looking for an experienced Production Manager ideally with a proven TV shopping background to lead our studio team and studio operations and ensure every broadcast runs smoothly and professionally. We're based in the heart of Manchester at Versa Studios - one of the most exciting studios for live broadcasts in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise closely with Versa Studios staff to guarantee the smooth daily operation of our dedicated TV studio in central Manchester
• Be on-site and hands-on for live broadcasts: supervise and support the studio crew during transmissions
• Collaborate with the buying team to plan, schedule, and coordinate compelling live or pre-recorded TV shopping shows
• Manage and develop the studio crew to maintain high performance and consistency
• Work with third-party partners (including our outsourced editing team) to deliver polished content on time
• Handle daily coordination with ITV and STV regarding on-air start times, scheduling, and any changes
• Report directly to the Board, providing clear updates on operations, performance, and improvements
• Apply deep knowledge of TV shopping mechanics to optimise shows, flow, timing, and audience engagement
• Plan ahead meticulously while staying calm and effective amid frequent last-minute adjustments

Essential Requirements

• Proven previous experience in TV shopping (home shopping / live retail TV) in a coordination or management role
• Strong understanding of how TV shopping works end-to-end (presentation, pacing, product demos, calls-to-action, etc.)
• Excellent planning, organisation, and forward-thinking skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities – you thrive working with diverse teams, broadcasters, and external partners
• Flexible approach to working hours (including evenings/nights to cover live broadcasts)
• Ability to remain composed and decisive during fast-paced, last-minute changes
• Local to Manchester for on-site availability at Versa Studios

Highly Advantageous

• Previous experience producing and/or directing TV content (especially live or shopping formats)
• Familiarity with studio production workflows, crew management, and broadcast timelines
